DELIVERY & RETURNS
All sales are subject to this policy in addition to our Terms & Conditions.
You will receive an Order Confirmation email as soon as you have placed an order. Please retain this email as we may ask you for information from it in any correspondence. If you do not receive this email, please contact us so that we can investigate and confirm whether your order has been placed successfully.
Prices are as set out on the website and include VAT if applicable. Where item prices exclude VAT, it will be added in your shopping basket at the current rate. We reserve the right to alter prices at any time.
While every effort has been made to portray items accurately, slight variations may occur. All measurements quoted are approximate and the reproduction of colours is as accurate as photographic and publishing processes will allow. Please note there may be variations in colours depending on the calibration and settings of individual computer screens. All paints are mixed according to the manufacturer’s instructions and may differ from the colour on your computer screen, for which we cannot take responsibility.
Full legal title to items will not pass to the customer until payment has been received in full in cleared funds.
Shipping prices for individual items are stated on the individual item page. The total cost for shipping may be reduced at checkout if purchasing multiple items or if your total order exceeds certain set levels.
Due to the many variables in calculating shipping, e.g. size, weight, value, fragility etc.,, the price of items shown excludes shipping unless expressly stated in the item description. In some cases, a separate shipping charge will be calculated automatically and added to the total - you can still cancel the purchase if you are not happy with the shipping price. Where no shipping price is displayed or the shipping price displays “POA”, we will contact you following your order to provide you with a shipping quotation.
Where items are to be exported from the United Kingdom, you shall be responsible for complying with any legislation or regulations governing the export from the United Kingdom or the importation into the country of destination of the items and for the payment of any duties therein. If the sale is zero rated or not subject to Value Added Tax due to the export of items, you shall take all necessary steps to export the items within the time limits and in accordance with the requirements of HM Customs and Excise and shall notify HM Customs and Excise of the export. You shall indemnify Jack & Atticus against any claims made against us for Value Added Tax or other expenses or penalties charged by HM Customs and Excise if the goods are not exported within the time limits or for any other reason relating to your order.
For orders placed on our website, our returns policy lasts 14 days after receipt of items. If 14 days have passed, we cannot automatically offer you a refund or exchange - if this is the case please contact us so we can consider your request.
To be eligible for a return, your items must be unused and in the same condition that you received them and in the original packaging. To complete your return, we may require a receipt or proof of purchase.
The following types of goods are exempt from being returned or refunded:
- Custom, bespoke or made-to-order items
- Items acquired by us for you in specific response to a request where those items are not normally available
- Sale items. Only regular priced items may be returned or refunded.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable):
- Where there are obvious signs of use
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 14 days after you have received it.
Once we have agreed to accept your returned item, you will receive an email with the return postal address. You will be responsible for paying for the shipping costs for the original delivery and the return of your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. You will be responsible for insuring your item during return shipping. If you receive a refund, the cost of the original and return shipping and insurance (as applicable) will be deducted from your refund.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit automatically applied to your payment card or original method of payment, usually within ten days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your payment card company as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If still in doubt, next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged and a suitable replacement is available. Due to the nature of goods sold in our store, an identical match is rarely available. If you wish to exchange it for the same item, contact us and do not return it unless we instruct you to do so.
